We offer a small , personal boarding facility at Tanglewood Porch Farm. Each Paddock measuring 50X75 ft. , with private , individual 12x12 loafing sheds, & water tank.
Observation has shown that horses are more content if they are given the
choice to stay and bask in the sun, or stand in the shed. We do not stall.
We address problematic horses & behavioral issues, most commonly connected with:
Stalling too frequently or Working too aggressively, and other areas.
If your horse is, pushy, nasty, marish, lazy, or uncooperative, food oriented, family pet, disrespectful, or on sweet feed, You can benefit from our training knowledge and environment. Attention is given to provide clean water. Plenty of fresh quality hay & grain are provided twice per day. Round-pen exercise, including the Join-up Process provided weekly. Pasture Play intervals are also encouraged, giving a change up in routine, and allowing for necessary herd socialization skills to develop. This also allows for normal 'horse' behavior. Allowing these social friendships often gives freedom for simple choices aiding in eliminating nasty habits and / or stress such as:
*Aggression to herdmates
*Pinning the ears
*Chewing
*Cribbing
*Weaving
*Colic

We work with 7 sites to market your horse at its best possible value. We assess, ride, photograph, & video for this price. Your horse is kept groomed and ridable for any prospective buyer. This is a full care pkg. No hidden fees.
